Acnc guidelines

The External Conduct Standards are a set of standards that govern how a registered charity must manage its activities and resources outside Australia. The Standards require charities to take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate standards of behaviour, governance and oversight when undertaking activities or providing funding overseas. Acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory skin condition affecting mainly the face, back and chest - it is characterised by blockage and inflammation of the pilosebaceous unit (the hair follicle, hair shaft and sebaceous gland). These charities will provide a range of invaluable services including child and youth services, environmental protection, education and more. The ACNC registers hundreds of new charities every month.

When you complete a Code Self-Assessment, you, and ACFI are assessing that your organisation has sufficient evidence in place to demonstrate compliance with each Commitment, using the descriptors of evidence provided by the Quality Assurance Framework. ACNC Annual Information Statement (AIS) The standard ACNC reporting period is the financial year from July to June. If your organisation operates on a financial year end of June then you are required to complete and lodge your AIS with the ACNC between July and December each year. The Guidelines do not restrict the operation of section 83C or any other provisions of the Act, or any other laws. In the event of any inconsistency between these Guidelines and the Act (or regulations), the provisions of the Act (or regulations) prevail to the extent of any inconsistency. The Government is committed to making Australia’s not-for-profit sector stronger and recognises the crucial role the ACNC plays in ensuring the sector continues to thrive.

Guidelines for OAGDS Eligibility Criteria There are four criteria that your organisation must meet in order to be recommended as an ‘approved organisation’ (refer to the OAGDS Eligibility Criteria available on DFAT’s web site).
